IF YOU are getting ready to upgrade your smartphone, you might want to hold off a little longer with Apple’s iPhone 7 expected for release sooner rather than later.
According to Bloomberg, insider sources have said manufacturing of the new iPhones will begin early next month.
If this is correct, Apple will likely release the new iPhone in September, as it has done with previous models over the past several years.
The iPhone 7 is set to retain the two different sized models introduced when the current phones were released last September.
This will give users the choice between the current 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display found on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.
After successfully implementing the Force Touch display on the Apple Watch, the company is billed to introduce the new technology on its forthcoming iPhone.
Rumours have been circulation over a new camera after Apple purchased Israel-based camera company LinX for an estimated $US20 million in April.
With iPhones required to be as thin and sleek as possible, it is believed the home button will be removed from the design.
