Tell us a little about yourself?
We are from high on leather is one and unique marketplace for genuine leather bags and other leather accessories. We are located in India and selling our goods all over the globe. Our mission is to change that answer by providing fashionable Eco-Friendly leather bags at selling prices up to 60% less than the retail prices of other and also at a considerable discount to the costs in a department store or even on the high street. We are even creating a market place for local vendors from all over the world to sell their genuine leather goods at cheap prices through our online platform.
What made you want to start this business and take it online?
When initially we started selling our products through other marketplaces we realized that our products are either getting rejected on etsy and commission was too high on amazon and ebay. We decided only then to create our own marketplace to provide genuine leather goods.
How long have you been in business and how many people work for you?
It recently been 2 years ever since we certainly have started in store and drop shipping. For wholesale, we are now using orders online from 6-7 years. Actually, since presently there are around 10 designers and even artisans who are working within our team. So, it’s a little team which mainly consists of creative designers and artisans of leather-based bags and online marketing professionals. We have individually assigned people who look after the website and online purchases
Tell us a little about the products and what sets them apart from others on the market?
Our prices and good leather quality makes us different from other leather bags manufactures. Most of our goods are procured from local markets and artisians from different countries who are making beautiful products and selling in very nominal rates. We are handling all their online sales parts.
Last but not least, what are the challenges you have faced?
Some of the challenges we faced from the competitors who started getting complexion due to our rates and started making an issue that cheap prices refers to cheap quality of leather whereas our customers have to say otherwise.
